The combination of styles is always an interesting “variable” in interior design. The bar design in Ninh Binh is one of Ken Design's favorite projects, which is the harmony between the gentle neoclassical bass notes and the clarity and elegance of modern sounds.
Any inspiration for the bar design in Ninh Binh?
The investor of the project - Mr. Hung came to Ken Design with the expectation of a very special bar. Located in Tam Coc - Bich Dong area, in the middle of rolling mountains and charming mountains, stopping here has a lot of foreign tourists. Therefore, Mr. Hung shared his desire to have a bar design that brings a close and comfortable experience to the caravans when visiting.
A special feature of the bar design in Ninh Binh, which is also our great inspiration when implementing this project is the fact that Mr. Hung still wants to bring very "Vietnamese" materials, "specialty" elements. ” of the land of Ninh Binh into the space of his shop. A bar that has both a sophisticated neoclassical look and a modern look was born like that.
Advantages and disadvantages in the design process
Favorable
Hung's bar is located in a prime location, inside the resort's premises. Surrounding it is a poetic, liberal landscape of mountains and rivers. This is a great advantage when designing a bar, because architects can take advantage of the landscape to enhance the beauty of the bar.
As a newly built building, the materials used in the restaurant are still very good. In addition, the gentle and lyrical beauty of the resort will help architects express the owner's ideas more fully.
Hard
Besides geographical advantages, bar design in Ninh Binh also faces certain difficulties. The shop is under construction, so changing the structure of the shop has a few problems. For example, prefabricated, pre-framed doorways will interfere with the design.
However, these difficulties are also the motivation for the Ken Design team to try their best, with the highest professionalism and creativity to create a satisfactory bar design, satisfying customers.
Impressive "variable" of neo-modern interference
This is a bar with requirements that are both luxurious, close to foreign tourists, modern and liberal, taking advantage of Vietnamese materials. Therefore, our architect designed the bar in Ninh Binh in the direction of combining neoclassical and modern styles. This impressive "variable" is a bold and unique step, bringing a truly relaxing and entertaining space.
Neoclassical and modern are two styles that are too familiar in interior design. Neoclassicism is remembered by its noble colors, exquisite textures and patterns that are perfectly restrained and high-quality materials. Modern style has its own charm when using neutral color tones, focusing on showing the sophistication of lines and shapes. Therefore, the blend of these two styles, both breaking the way, and harmonizing to the heart.
Exterior space - a gentle prelude
The exterior space of the bar design in Ninh Binh has a gentle and delicate beauty but is still extremely eye-catching. The transparent glass doors help create depth for the interior space, evoking a feeling of spaciousness and spaciousness. Customers can easily feel the atmosphere inside the restaurant with just one look.
Right from the exterior, Ken Design has shown a delicate combination of modern lines and neoclassical elements. It manifests in the embossed rectangular shapes on the doorways and the semicircular curves in the roof. The decoration in front of the bar is moderated, mainly using ornamental plants and flowers growing in bushes, creating a natural look and harmony with the surrounding space. The motifs in the balustrade and the wall are the neo-classical imprints that our architects put in, dotting the interior space with a deep beauty that is very modern, very European.
"2 in 1" beauty in interior design
1st floor
The highlight of the bar design in Ninh Binh on the first floor is in the bar section. It can be said that this is the "heart" of the restaurant, as the chorus is created to make the neo-modern concert sublime. We use natural wood materials, cut in the shape of half a lathe. This is a popular cut in interior and exterior design, or is used for railings and stairs. Cutting the half-turn shape not only creates certainty and safety, but also has a very high aesthetic value.
The bar with curving curves forms a wrap, separating the guest area and the bartending area. In addition, customers can also sit at the counter to enjoy and "chill" with glasses of bourbon or aromatic vodka. The bar is painted flat, completely losing the wood grain and natural color of the wood, making the wood surface much smoother and flatter. The space inside the restaurant becomes more luxurious, "clean" and minimalist.
The wine cabinet is designed to be placed close to the wall, also made from natural wood and painted to match the bar. This design helps to optimize the area, convenient for the process of serving drinks to guests, but has a very high aesthetic. High chairs with elaborately bent metal legs not only help customers to sit comfortably but also create the true luxury of a bar.
2nd Floor
Still a gentle neoclassical style combined with modern, but the 2nd floor is impressed by a space with a completely different feel. Retro sound is the highlight of the second floor interior. If the first floor brings elegance with a European touch, the design of the bar on the second floor has a classic color with familiarity, very close to Vietnam.
Our bar design in Ninh Binh uses raw brick walls, which is currently the trend of this year's interior design because of its amazing aesthetic effect. The rustic wall evokes a classic space, peaceful and simple nostalgia. On the 2nd floor, the design makes use of all familiar materials in Vietnam. Patterned plates in traditional Vietnamese homes are used as a sophisticated decoration when mounted on the wall with neon effect.
Unlike the first floor, the second floor is chosen to use a simple, rustic but still modern wooden furniture set. This rustic simplicity does not make the space boring. Flooring with patterned tiles with square motifs in two colors black - white makes the space more attractive, has more depth.
The difference of the bar design project in Ninh Binh
Impressive colors
The main color tone in Mr. Hung's bar design project in Ninh Binh is duck-neck blue with warm brown tones. The duck-neck blue color seems to bring the noble space of European architecture to the middle of the poetic and lyrical beauty of the young country of Ninh Binh.
On the first floor, blue fills the space with neoclassical charm. This deep blue color makes the space more chill, more elegant. Up to the second floor, brown - orange color dominates. The second floor space looks rustic, close but does not lose the freshness and modernity of a bar. The overall space has a gentle, charming, unique and luxurious feature. Located in the same space, but the mix of brown tones with retro breath evokes a completely different experience. The second floor of the bar has typical rustic features, very Vietnamese, very harmonious with the deep blue color.
Special lighting arrangement
A special feature in the bar design project in Ninh Binh is the lighting arrangement. The lights in this space are kept to a minimum. Architects only use light to highlight the space. Therefore, the light in here is quite gentle to the eyes, suitable for romance and relaxation like a bar. Ken Design's architects use recessed spotlights, which illuminate but help optimize space. The hanging lights are bent in different shapes, both modern and luxurious.
In addition to recessed lights, the space is also supplemented with light from delicate spherical pendant lights and classic lampshades. The space becomes more chill than ever, meeting the requirements that Mr. Hung set for us - a neoclassical space experience combined with modern and youthful features.
