Design Objectives
An ideal meeting point for Korean food lovers is what the investor envisioned for the Matjoy design project! The investor, who is directly involved in the design project of Matjoy Korean Restaurant, aims to create a distinct brand space that leaves a good impression on customers while using the service.
With a modern, spacious style, and a stunning view with sparkling check-in corners, customers at Matjoy can enjoy taking pictures while savoring authentic Korean dishes in an exceptional setting.
Space Layout
The overall design of the restaurant aims for a luxurious and modern space that is also elegant and sophisticated, suitable for various customer demographics. With a deep wooden brown tone combined with appropriate lighting, it creates a warm, cozy atmosphere, making you feel like you are enjoying delicious meals right at home.
Unlike other dreamy and beautiful Korean space concepts, our architects have come up with a minimalist and novel space with a touch of old industrial imprints. The architect designed the restaurant in a modern Industrial style, bringing memorable brand marks. With a spacious two-story layout, Matjoy can accommodate up to 150 diners without long waits.
The unique restaurant concept aims to provide delicious food in a luxurious, elegant decor space, offering the most dedicated service and a valuable experience. Different from other dreamy and beautiful Korean space ideas, our architect designed a slightly rugged space with old industrial imprints. Indeed, the architect designed the restaurant in a modern Industrial style, leaving unforgettable brand impressions. Comfortable, spacious, private seating, and "classy" check-in corners with a Korean film vibe make for a perfect dining and chatting experience.
Interior Design
The interior is meticulously designed with warm tones creating a luxurious yet elegant space, providing a warm, intimate atmosphere, suitable for groups, families, or intimate dates.
Interior design is a crucial stage in building and developing the restaurant's value. Particularly, the restaurant furniture plays a significant role in creating functional and aesthetic value, leaving a positive impression on customers. This style combines rawness with functionality, featuring strong and decisive lines. Therefore, Matjoy's space utilizes a free-spirited and slightly rugged design in its furniture.
We use materials such as brick, concrete, metal, and wood in the ceiling and floor design, with a special preference for wood, iron, and steel in the furniture design. The furniture is simple, and dark-toned, reflecting the style's spirit. These details emphasize rough, edgy surfaces rather than meticulous finishes. Additionally, the tables and chairs in the restaurant are wooden square and rectangular tables combined with iron chairs with a static paint finish.
The Industrial-style interior design brings a fresh, expansive look while helping investors minimize costs. This style focuses on simplicity, science, and the beauty of raw, simple materials, and the restaurant has achieved this.
Aiming for a spacious, comfortable dining and drinking experience with high-quality Korean standard furniture, the buffet line counter is placed in the center of the restaurant, with tables and chairs arranged around it. The design includes single tables, double tables, and family/group tables, catering to a diverse range of customers and ensuring convenience in getting food.
The kitchen area is reasonably arranged, spacious, and meets international standards to ensure excellent service quality and food safety. The restroom space is also given special attention with a spacious, airy design, ensuring comfort and the best experience for our customers.
Restaurant Decoration
Our design idea focuses on minimizing decorative elements, reducing redundancy with the "less is more" approach, suitable for the restaurant's overall style. We ensure simplicity and utility throughout the space while maintaining functional and aesthetic value. However, this doesn't make the restaurant space dull. The interior speaks for itself, showcasing its value, with a few impressive paintings added for highlights.
In fast-food restaurant design, the lighting system is impressively decorated with unique hanging lamps creating an enchanting look when customers step into the restaurant.
